An overview of entity templates
Entity templates allow the combination of multiple entities of any kind, whether that be UI controls, classes or other entity templates, to create easily reusable functionality.
They do this through exposing properties, inputs, outputs, sub-entities and interfaces to incorporating entities.
The basic concept behind this is the idea that an entity template has a root entity. The root entity of a scene or brick entity should be a spatial entity; the root entity of a template is usually a ZEntity but can be anything. Any functionality (properties, inputs, outputs or anything else) that exists on a root entity is automatically made available when you incorporate the entity template into another entity template.
There is a wide range of functionality that can be exposed. Check the other pages in this section for more.
